Overview of the rebooking and cancellation rules of the hotel chains due to Corona Virus

Last update: 21.05.20, 08:00 a.m.CET

Note: Since the current situation around the corona virus is currently very dynamic and changes occur almost every hour, we cannot guarantee that the following contribution is always up-to-date. We will update it regularly, however, and each time will be given a corresponding “time stamp” from the last update.

Not only flights are affected by the Corona pandemic (find here about the current rebooking and cancellation rules of airlines), but also with hotels the question is now how to deal with bookings that have already been made and what options you have with potential new bookings. Fortunately, most hotel chains react relatively flexibly and in many cases allow free cancellations or rebookings for existing or new bookings. In this article we will show you what the conditions of the individual hotel chains look like in detail.

Here you can find out about the current entry requirements for the countries, here you will find current adjustments of status criteria for airlines and hotels. And here is an overview of what else you should currently consider when traveling.
