“World’s Best Awards 2020”: Finca Cortesin is the best resort hotel in Spain

“And the winner is … Finca Cortesin!” The luxury hideaway on the Andalusian coast has just been recognized as the best resort hotel in Spain and Portugal at the “World’s Best Awards 2020” by Travel + Leisure. Finca Cortesin also took second place on the list of the best European resort hotels and number 11 among the top 100 hotels in the world.

The location alone is unique: designed by the renowned architects Roger Torras and Ignacio Sierra in the style of a classic Andalusian finca, the property lies in the middle of green hills on a 532 hectare property with more than 23,000 square meters of well-tended gardens and one of the most beautiful golf courses in the area Country.

The 67 suites with their four-meter high ceilings have a size of up to 180 square meters and are grouped around two palatial main courtyards, while on the golf course there are luxurious private villas in a modern, Mediterranean style with up to five bedrooms. The 18-hole golf course designed by Cabell Robinson is one of the longest courses in Europe at almost 6.8 kilometers. Numerous high-class tournaments have already been held here.
