Wellness in Bavaria: New rooftop pool and new spa suites in Das Graseck

The Graseck is a wonderful tip for an autumn wellness break in the Bavarian Alps. A new rooftop pool with an impressive view that can be used all year round is now available. With an impressive 70 square meters, it offers the opportunity to keep a sufficient safety distance – and if it should be cooler, a new sauna awaits you right by the pool to warm up.

Also new at Das Graseck are a reading lounge with a 270-degree panorama, a multifunctional room for sports retreats, yoga or conferences and two 40-square-meter spa suites. They offer a terrace with a daybed and a wonderful view, a private sauna and a free-standing bathtub. They can be booked from EUR 455 per night.

The Graseck, which opened in 2015, is located on a sunny balcony not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The journey alone is an experience, because the Graseckbahn takes you up to the family-run boutique hotel in just a few minutes, which arose from the former Royal Bavarian Forestry House Graseck. In addition to 33 rooms and suites in a modern alpine design, it includes two restaurants with a natural vitality kitchen and a sunny beer garden.

The wellness area now has two outdoor pools as well as various saunas and steam baths. Another highlight is the medical prevention center “Grap Prevent”, which is directly connected to the Graseck. A holistic preventive program based on the most modern knowledge can be completed here. If you wish, a personal trainer will organize your vacation in the mountains in a very individual and active way.
