United Arab Emirates suspend all passenger air traffic

The United Arab Emirates announced that it would suspend all air travel (excluding cargo and evacuation flights) for at least 2 weeks from 25 March.

This means that there will be no flights from or to Dubai DXB, Dubai DWC, Abu Dhabi AUH, Sharjah SHJ, Ras al Khaimah RKT and Al Ain AAN during this time. This also means that the local airlines Emirates, Etihad, Flydubai and Air Arabia have been completely grounded, so that it is no longer possible to change trains at the airports mentioned.

Almost all remaining connections from the country are already fully booked, which should lead to an enormous number of stranded passengers.
