By changing aircraft, United Airlines will expand its range of premium seats on flights from Frankfurt to Chicago and from Zurich to Washington from spring 2020 – in United Polaris Business Class as well as in United Premium Plus Class. Here are the details:
United Airlines: Frankfurt – Chicago
From 29 March 2020, a modern Boeing 787-10 “Dreamliner” will be used on flight UA945 from Frankfurt to Chicago. It is equipped with 44 seats of the latest United Polaris Business Class. The United Premium Plus Class with 21 seats is also new. It offers more legroom, a greater angle of inclination of the seats and an expanded range of food and drinks compared to the Economy Plus and Economy Class.
From 09 May 2020, the United Premium Plus Class and the complete United Polaris product will also be available on the second daily United flight from Frankfurt to Chicago (UA906). The Boeing 777 used on the route then has these service classes.
United Airlines: Zurich – Washington
Also from 29 March 2020, a newly configured Boeing 767-300ER will take over the daily flights between Zurich and Washington-Dulles (UA53). It has 46 seats in United Polaris Business Class – 16 more than before. There are also 22 seats in the United Premium Plus Class.
