The TownHouse: New five-star boutique hotel in Mykonos Old Town

The old town of Mykonos has been enriched by a hotel jewel: the new five-star boutique hotel The TownHouse Mykonos has just opened its doors in a town palace from the 18th century, which has been restored at great expense over the last three years. Only a few minutes’ walk from the famous windmills, the Adults Only hotel scores points not least with the only rooftop terrace in the heart of the city.

When adapting the neoclassical mansion, the architect and interior designer Nader Gebran from London opted for a mixture of Greek design and simple luxury. The TownHouse Mykonos has only 19 rooms and suites, most of which have a balcony or terrace and range from the “Classic Room” to duplex, junior and sunset suites to the “Mykonian Suite” and the “TownHouse Villa”, both of which have a Jacuzzi on the terrace.

Unique view over the roofs of the city

The “54 Cocktail Bar & Sunset Lounge” has been one of the hot spots on Mykonos since 2014 and offers small snacks, cocktails, lounge music and a unique view over the roofs of the old town and the harbour of Mykonos from 12 noon to midnight. The sunset can be enjoyed particularly well from here. The premium gym “Pump Gym” completes the facilities of the TownHouse Mykonos.

Thanks to the hotel’s central location, the numerous fashion shops, bars, restaurants and clubs of Mykonos Town are just a few steps away – and from the nearby harbour, the beautiful beaches of Mykonos and the neighbouring islands can be easily reached by boat or ship.
