The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach: New design for an Art Deco icon in Miami

The legendary The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach in the Historic District of Miami is reopening after a more than EUR 80 million renovation. With a new design that complements the historic Art Deco architecture with modern, timeless accents, the hotel icon wants to start a new era directly on the beach.

The “Lapidus Bar” in the lobby is brand new and invites you to live music and vintage cocktails. In the also new restaurant “Fuego y Mar”, chef Anthony LePape serves a wide variety of specialties from Latin American cuisine. Here guests will also find a tech lounge where they can work and order coffee or cocktails. The “DiLido Beach Club” again attracts with luxurious seating and a view of the turquoise blue sea.

The 376 rooms and suites were also redesigned. For the club level guests, the “Club Lounge” offers a concierge and free culinary specialties throughout the day. In the 1,500 square meter spa of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, the focus is on a holistic wellness approach. The “Timeless Capsule” is unique in the USA – a special spa treatment for guests with little time.
