The best view of Dublin: Guinness Storehouse “doubles” its rooftop bar

The “Gravity Bar” on the roof of the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin is now open to visitors again with an area of twice the size after an investment of more than EUR 20 million: Now a unique 360-degree view of the city awaits on 721 square meters – of course with a Guinness in hand.

The rooftop bar with its floor-to-ceiling glass windows sits like a head of foam on the pint on the former fermentation plant of the Guinness brewery – today’s Guinness Storehouse at St. James Gate – and has also had many prominent visitors like Queen Elisabeth II since its opening in 2000 , Bill Clinton, Tom Cruise or Kylie Minogue greeted.

After three years of construction, more than 175,000 working hours and 230 square meters of built-in glass, the rooftop bar will in future offer space for 500 guests and thus the perfect end to a visit to the seven-story, interactive world of experience of the Guinness Storehouse, in which the history of more than 250 years tells the old brand and the production of the “Black Stuff” is staged in an entertaining way.
