Already at the end of last year, Miles & More customers were informed about the change in the guest rule for Star Alliance/Lufthansa lounges. The new rule states that all accompanying persons must now travel on the same flight as the status customer in order to enter the corresponding Lufthansa or Star Alliance lounges. According to the Star Alliance website, this also applies to First Class passengers and their guests.
According to the Lufthansa website, however, you can still take a guest with you as a First Class passenger who is not travelling on the same Star Alliance flight on the same day. This regulation will apply to all Lufthansa Group and Star Alliance lounges from 3 May 2021.
