St Regis Cairo: New luxury hotel opens directly on the banks of the Nile

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has announced the highly anticipated opening of the St Regis Cairo: The new luxury hotel rises directly on the banks of the Nile at the northern end of the Corniche and is certainly one of the most striking buildings in the Egyptian capital. There are 286 rooms and suites on 36 floors, as well as 80 apartments, which offer a magnificent view of Cairo and the Nile.

The absolute highlight are the three “Royal Suites” with a size of 300 square metres each. In addition to two bedrooms and two bathrooms, they also have their own fitness room, a sauna and a small cinema room. In addition, there is the unique St. Regis butler service, which guests of all rooms and suites can enjoy.

The culinary offer at the St Regis Cairo is diverse. Authentic southern Italian cuisine is served in the restaurant “La Zisa”, the Asian “Tianma” takes you on a journey to Singapore, meat and fish are grilled in the American “J&G Steakhouse” and a selection of Mediterranean and Egyptian dishes awaits you in the “Sirocco” with poolside bar.

A richly decorated library offers itself as a quiet corner and the water garden with Egyptian interior as a meeting place for afternoon tea. The legendary “St. Regis Bar” is inspired by the “King Cole Bar” in the brand’s flagship in New York, where the world-famous “Bloody Mary” was born in 1934. It offers an exclusive selection of the best champagnes in the world, rare vintage wines, cocktails and the hotel’s own version of the “Bloody Mary” with the scent of hibiscus blossom.

The more than 1,000-square-metre “Iridium Spa” of the St Regis brand features a sauna, a steam bath, an ice room, and a vitality pool. A fitness club, an indoor and an outdoor pool are also part of the St Regis Cairo, as is a three-storey ballroom with space for up to 1,000 guests.
