Sandals South Coast Resort in Jamaica receives 20 new swim-up suites

Sandals South Coast, which can only be booked by couples, is considered one of the most beautiful resorts in the still largely undeveloped south of Jamaika. Nevertheless, the luxury hostel is now being renovated by several million US dollars. Until the 20th of December new “Swim-Up Rondoval Suites” will be built at one of the longest pools in the world. Bookings are now possible for the travel period starting on the 10th of December 2020.

The first “Swim-Up Rondoval Suites” were built at Sandals Grande Antigua. This was followed by Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sandals Grenada and Sandals Royal Barbados. Now these innovative accommodations will soon also be available in Jamaica. The biggest advantage in Sandals South Coast is certainly the direct access to the 1,583 square meter pool. But also a lot of privacy and a personal butler service are offered.

Further highlights are the free-standing bathtub for two people, a waterfall shower, a comfortable basket swing with a view of the water and a ceiling height of up to six meters above the bed. The bathrooms are equipped with a floating washstand made of natural stone and illuminated mirrors. Outside there is modern lounge furniture and a shady sun deck.

As part of the renovation, the 112 rooms and suites in the resort’s “Dutch Village” will also be renovated. Among other things, you will receive free-standing outdoor bathtubs for two people. Sandals South Coast is nestled in a hilly landscape of more than 200 hectares, directly on a 3.5 kilometer long private beach. The last major renovation took place in 2017, when twelve overwater bungalows, the overwater bar “Latitudes” and a wedding chapel above the sea were built.
