Sanctuary Retreats celebrates the reopening of two luxury camps in Botswana

After a long corona break, two of the four luxury camps of Sanctuary Retreats in Botswana welcome guests again: Sanctuary Chief’s Camp in the Okavango Delta and Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero on the edge of the Chobe National Park celebrated their reopening in mid-December and now invite you to extraordinary wildlife observations in the untouched nature of Botswana with a “Special Reopening Offer”.

Sanctuary Chief’s Camp

The Okavango Delta is known for its waterways that cut through the vast grassy plains. Guests here get to enjoy some of the best game viewing in the world. The ten villas at Sanctuary Chief’s Camp are all equipped with a small pool. Public areas include a bar, lounge, library, restaurant, pool, spa and gym.

Absolute privacy and maximum comfort are promised by the ultra-luxurious “Geoffrey Kent Suite” for up to six persons. In addition to a kitchen, lounge and boma, there is even a private safari vehicle with guide and a personal chef. On request, guests of the Sanctuary Chief’s Camp can also marvel at the Okavango Delta on a helicopter flight.

Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero

The highlights at the Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero on the edge of the Chobe National Park undoubtedly include the water safaris on the Chobe River. In the home of the world’s largest elephant population, guests can watch the gentle giants bathe in the water. Lions, leopards, buffaloes, cheetahs, wild dogs and hyenas can also be spotted.

The luxury camp’s suites offer a mix of modern design and traditional African influences and feature heavenly beds, free-standing bathtubs and rain showers. A “pool suite” is also available. Exquisite gourmet cuisine is served in the restaurant and on the veranda, accompanied by fine wines. The wood-burning oven is regularly the star of the show. A spa, a two-level pool, and a fitness room complete the facilities.

To celebrate the reopening of the two exceptional camps in Botswana, Sanctuary Retreats has launched a special “Special Reopening Offer” at unbeatable rates from 4 January to 31 March 2021. For a minimum seven-night stay, rates start as low as USD 274 per night at Sanctuary Chief’s Camp and USD 174 per night at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. In the high season, the rates are USD 576 and USD 360 respectively.
