Qatar Airways: Eleven new destinations in 2020

Qatar Airways has announced another eight new destinations for 2020 – including Cebu in the Philippines, Siem Reap in Cambodia and Luanda in Angola. With the three new routes to Santorini, Dubrovnik and Osaka, which have already been announced, the airline’s global network has expanded by eleven to a total of 177 destinations.

New Qatar Airways Destinations:

  • Nur-Sultan / Kazakhstan: twice a week from 30 March 2020
  • Almaty / Kazakhstan: twice a week from 01 April 2020
  • Osaka / Japan: 5 times a week from 06 April 2020
  • Cebu / Philippines: 3 times per week from 08 April 2020
  • Accra / Ghana: daily from 15 April 2020
  • Dubrovnik / Croatia: 3 times per week from 20 April 2020
  • Santorini / Greece: 4 times per week from 20 May 2020
  • Trabzon / Turkey: 3 times a week from 20 May 2020
  • Lyon / France: 5 times a week from 23 June 2020
  • Luanda / Angola: 4 times a week from 14 October 2020
  • Siem Reap / Cambodia: 5 times per week from 16 November 2020

In addition, Qatar Airways announced 66 additional connections per week to 20 existing destinations. The frequency is expanded to include Athens (4 times daily), Belgrade (10 times per week), Venice (11 times per week), Warsaw (18 times per week), Zurich (18 times per week), Windhoek (7 times per week), Colombo ( 5 times a day) and Langkawi (7 times a week). In addition, the daily flights to Kilimanjaro and Dar es Salaam are separated and replaced by daily direct flights to each destination. The same applies to three of the seven weekly flights to Kigali (Rwanda) and Entebbe (Uganda).
