Hotel Opening

Panoptis Escape: New luxury hideaway on Mykonos

With the Panoptis Escape, the “Myconian Collection” is opening its tenth hotel in Mykonos this summer: The new hideaway is a member of the “Small Luxury Hotels of the World” and consists of just six villas with private infinity pools. The name says it all, because “Panoptis” means “where man meets his gods”.

with its exclusive location on a hill, the Panoptis Escape offers a breathtaking view of the Aegean Sea and Elia Beach on the south coast of Mykonos – including fascinating sunsets. The interior combines the classic architecture of the Cyclades with modern design elements to create a very special definition of “less is more”.

The “Panoptis Escape Villa” with 21 bedrooms at the top of the hill is absolutely unique. Covering 1,900 square meters of living space and 2,500 square meters of outdoor space, it includes twelve infinity pools, several living rooms and bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, an open-air kitchen with grill, a private landing area for up to three helicopters and its own spa. The five other villas have one to three bedrooms and a living space of 46 to 230 square meters.

The family-run Myconian Collection Hotels & Resorts was founded in 1979 by George and Eleftheria Daktylides and is now managed by their four sons Panos, Marcos, Vangelis and Marios. The collection currently consists of nine luxury hotels in Mykonos. Each house captivates with its own personality, individual design and lifestyle as well as different room, suite and villa concepts.
