Opening in May: Bangkok receives a second Kempinski Hotel

Kempinski opens a second hotel in Bangkok: In addition to Siam Kempinski, the new Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok will complement the hotel group’s portfolio in the capital of Thailand from May 2020. The luxurious retreat can be found in the newly developed Sindhorn Village in the Langsuan district – just a few steps away from Lumphini Park, which is considered the largest green space in Bangkok.

The 285 rooms and suites of the Sindhorn Kempinski have a minimum size of 66 square meters and all have a dining table, a free-standing bathtub with separate shower and a private balcony. The design is modern, but with authentic Thai elements: vibrant colors of the Benjarong ceramics create cheerful tones, while the intricate patterns of the Rajabopit temple adorn the walls.

The “Sindhorn Wellness by Resense” covers an area of ​​4,000 square meters on three floors of the hotel. Detoxification programs and facials are also part of the offer, as is a Moroccan hammam, an organic and salt sauna, a cold chamber, an aroma steam bath, a Rasul mud room and the tepidarium lounge, where guests can relax while looking out over Bangkok. Right next to it is a 25 meter long infinity pool filled with salt water.

Fitness enthusiasts can look forward to special workout studios on two floors. These include a virtual bike studio by the world market leader Les Mills and a HIIT studio (High Intensity Interval Training) with the latest CrossFit courses. Yoga, dance classes and Pilates with Resense experts complete the program.

In the “Flow” restaurant, chef Eric Lecras concentrates on a plant-based kitchen with certified organic products from the region. The “Flourish” serves Thai, European, Mediterranean and vegan dishes with a garden view, the “Firefly Bar” with its cigar lounge spoils you with cocktails and spirits on the picturesque garden terrace and the airy lobby is perfect for an afternoon tea or a business meeting in a relaxed atmosphere.
