Dubai has another world record: The 560 square metre pool on the roof of the new Address Beach Resort has officially been named the “world’s highest outdoor infinity pool in a building” by Guinness World Records. The new “place to be” in Dubai is located at a height of 294 metres on the 77th floor of the hotel and offers a breathtaking view of Bluewaters Island, the Palm Jumeirah, the marina and Ain Dubai – the world’s highest Ferris wheel.
Access to the world record pool is limited to guests of the Address Beach Resort. But those who don’t stay here can still enjoy the view if they reserve a table on the terrace of the adjacent restaurant “ZETA Seventy Seven”. Asian fusion cuisine is on offer here. It’s worth it – even if the minimum price of AED 1,000 (approx. EUR 225) is quite steep.
The highest inhabited skybridge in the world
The Address Beach Resort opened in December on the last vacant lot on the “JBR Walk” – a 1.7-kilometre promenade in front of the Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) with chic boutiques and world-class dining venues. The two towers are connected by the world’s tallest inhabited skybridge and house a total of 217 rooms and suites, 443 serviced flats and 478 residences.
In addition to the rooftop pool, there are other pools on the hotel’s 100-metre-long beachfront. A luxury spa, a gym and five restaurants – including the Lebanese-Brazilian “Li’Brasil” and the “Beach Grill” on the beach – complete the facilities. Room rates start at AED 1,200 (approx. EUR 270) per night in summer and AED 1,972 (approx. EUR 440) in November and December – in each case including taxes, fees and breakfast for two persons.
