Istanbul’s new airport has now opened a SkyTeam Lounge. It is the world’s seventh SkyTeam Lounge, the next will open in 2020 in Santiago de Chile.
You can visit the new lounge with a SkyTeam Elite Plus status in conjunction with a SkyTeam airline ticket, or with a Business or First Class ticket from the seven SkyTeam airlines flying to Istanbul (Aeroflot, Air France, KLM, Korean Air, Middle East Airlines, Saudia, TAROM).
Of course, the lounge is in direct competition with the extremely good new Turkish Airlines lounges and therefore offers similarly luxurious amenities. For example, stations where food is freshly prepared live. Of course, there are also bathrooms with showers and a well-stocked bar. The lounge will be open 24 hours.
