New Hotel Opening

New Kempinski on Dominica welcomes the first guests

The eagerly awaited Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica has opened: The Caribbean island of Dominica, still largely unknown to tourists, with its volcanoes, rainforests, gorges, and waterfalls, now has its first five-star hotel. For Kempinski, it is the second location in the Caribbean after the Gran Hotel Manzana in Havana.

Situated in Douglas Bay on the northwest side of the island and surrounded by Cabrits National Park, Cabrits Resort & Spa Kempinski Dominica has 151 luxuriously appointed rooms, suites and villas – crowned by the 420 square meter presidential villa with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dining room, a small spa, an oversized terrace, a private pool and butler service. A private chef is also available if required.

The buffet restaurant “Cabrits Market” offers Italian specialties, the finest from the grill, Creole dinners and opulent brunches. The “Kwéyòl Beach Café” with sea view and the “Créole Beach Bar” offer a mix of local and international dishes, while the “Bonsai Restaurant” offers sushi, sashimi, satays, Thai curries and wok sauces from all over Asia. At sunset, classic cocktails and original Caribbean rum creations can be enjoyed in the Rumfire Bar.

The 1,700 square meter “Kempinski The Spa” with its bungalow-style treatment rooms is the perfect place to relax. Four pools, a fitness center, two tennis courts, a children’s club, and various water sports complete the offer. For meetings, weddings and celebrations there are three conference rooms, a meeting room, and an outdoor amphitheater.
