New Hotel Opening

Mandarin Oriental Etiler: Istanbul will soon have a new landmark

Three architecturally impressive skyscrapers are currently being built on a hill near the centre of Istanbul, which are likely to become a new landmark of the metropolis once they are completed. One of the three towers will house the new Mandarin Oriental Etiler, Istanbul with 158 rooms and suites, while the other two will be used for 251 Mandarin Oriental Residences.

The owners and developers of the project in the Besiktas district are Astas Holding and Yapi & Yapi. The spectacular designs are by UNStudio. The focal point is a landscape garden for residents, guests and neighbours, which takes up the entire area of almost 32,000 square metres and extends over the planted terraces to the top floors of the towers.

View over the city and the Bosporus

The base is a pedestal over three floors with shops, offices and gastronomy. The towers themselves were constructed in such a way that they do not cast shadows on each other and on the garden in the afternoon hours, while continuous glass fronts in all rooms allow a wide view over the city and the Bosporus.

The Mandarin Oriental Etiler, Istanbul will have three restaurants and bars, a spa and fitness centre, and indoor and outdoor pools. The 251 residences, which are expected to be among the most exclusive living options in the city, will offer direct access to the hotel’s facilities, as well as two private pools and a dedicated fitness centre. The opening is expected in the first quarter of 2023.
