After a long corona break, the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz and the Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Pontresina, eight kilometers away, celebrate their reopening on 03 July 2020. Summer 2020 will be different – and yet events are planned again. Accommodation prices start at CHF 595 for two people with half board in the Kulm Hotel and CHF 455 in the Kronenhof.
The “Festival da Jazz” promises very special experiences this year from 16 July to 02 August 2020, because this time it will take place mostly outdoors – in the Taiswald near Pontresina as well as on Lake St. Moritz and in the pedestrian zone of St. Moritz . The Kulm Hotel has secured two concerts exclusively. One of them will take place on the Swiss national holiday – 01 August – in Kulm Park.
In addition, the Kulm Hotel invites you from 04 July to 30 August 2020 for the first time from Thursday to Saturday to the drive-in night in the “Kulm Country Club”: There is space for up to 30 cars at an entry price of CHF 20 per car. A culinary accompaniment is provided. The country club with restaurant and bar in the historic ice pavilion of Kulm Park, redesigned by architecture icon Norman Forster, has been the highlight of the Grand Hotel since 2016.
The Kulm Hotel St. Moritz has 164 rooms and suites, four restaurants and three bars, its own 9-hole golf course and a modern spa on 2,000 square meters. In 1864, the then owner Johannes Badrutt initiated winter tourism here. Today, the Grand Hotel is being carefully developed by the hosts Jenny and Heinz E. Hunkeler. The French star architect Pierre-Yves Rochon recently redesigned 66 rooms and suites.
The Grand Hotel Kronenhof is located in the heart of the Swiss mountain village of Pontresina. As the only five-star superior hotel in town, it combines imposing architecture with breathtaking views, an impressive wellness area and award-winning cuisine. At an altitude of 1,800 meters, guests can enjoy 112 rooms and suites, some of which were designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon.
