Kempinski expands its portfolio with two elegant lodges and a luxury tented camp in Tanzania. A management agreement with Helios Lodges Company has just been signed. The three new safari jewels are located at Lake Manyara, in the Serengeti and in Tarangire National Park and can be ideally combined on a round trip. They are scheduled to open in 2023.

At Kempinski Msasa Lodge Lake Manyara, 19 tents with terrace and outdoor showers, two junior suite tents with pool and two family tents with a size of more than 200 square metres are planned. Situated on a ridge overlooking the 230-square-kilometre Lake Manyara, this luxury tented camp – some 120 kilometres west of Arusha – will provide front-row viewing of wildlife and an extraordinary variety of birds.

The Kempinski Longosa Lodge Serengeti with its 75 rooms is being built in the Serengeti National Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While the smallest rooms start at 71 square metres, the suites start at 98 square metres. In addition, there are two villas with 270 and 400 square metres respectively. Bars and lounges, a dining area with outdoor cooking, a fire pit, a pool and a wellness area complete the offer.

With 75 rooms, suites and villas, the Kempinski Kitbong Hill Tarangire‘s offers are similar to the lodge in the Serengeti. In the heart of Tarangire National Park, not only can wildlife be seen, but also more than 550 different species of birds. Travel to the three Kempinski lodges in Tanzania can be via Kilimanjaro International Airport or Dar Es Salaam Airport with connections to Arusha or Lobo.
