Insider tip in the Maldives: Heritance Aarah celebrates its reopening in September

Heritance Aarah, which only opened in mid-2019, has not yet had much time to exploit its advantages. That is why the hideaway of the Aitken Spence hotel group from Sri Lanka can definitely be described as an insider tip in the Maldives. On 01 September 2020, the luxury resort with its 150 villas and suites in the Raa Atoll will celebrate its restart after the long Corona break.

Heritance Aarah wants to make a name for itself above all with the culinary variety of the comprehensive “Premium All Inclusive” program: The wide range of flavors in the six restaurants and five bars ranges from Asia to Europe and the Orient to Latin America and is what brought the F&B -Team in the “Food & Hospitality Asia Maldives 2019” competition a total of 19 gold medals – the highest number a resort could achieve.

The buffet restaurant “Ranba” offers international delicacies from Asian street food to the western farmer’s market, the “Ralu”, which is inspired by French and Italian brasseries, offers a mini buffet and freshly prepared classics, the “Ginifati” beach grill has the catch of the day, the signature -Restaurant “Ambula” serves modern Sri Lankan cuisine and the “Hathaa” takes guests to the streets of Bangkok, Malé, Tokyo, Istanbul and Mumbai.

The “Bandhi Bar” is the heart of Heritance Aarah. Here creative cocktails and delicious snacks are available under palm trees – with a shisha if you wish. Classics and unusual signature drinks are mixed in the “Sky Bar”, cold beer and innovative cocktails are served in the “Undaras Bar” by the infinity pool and the “Ralu Lounge Bar” is recommended with a large selection of rum. Only that Lebanese restaurant “Baani” and the “Falhu Bar” are reserved exclusively for guests of the Ocean Suites.

124 villas and 26 suites with pool

The 124 villas and 26 suites of Heritance Aarah are located directly on the beach or in the lagoon. Even the 51 beach villas as the cheapest category already have a size of 88 square meters. The twelve Pool Beach Villas (92 square meters) are also equipped with a private pool, as are the 25 Ocean Suites (157 square meters) over the water. The absolute highlight is the 315 square meter Ocean Residence with two bedrooms, a private pool and spacious living and dining areas. All villas are also looked after by private butlers.

The first Medical Spa in the Maldives offers pure relaxation with six treatment rooms, a sauna and a steam bath. A kids club, a fitness center, a tennis court, a PADI diving center as well as sailing, kite surfing and wind surfing complete the offer. Last but not least, the fantastic overwater infinity pool is sensational. The Heritance Aarah can be reached by seaplane from the airport in Malé, which is only 153 kilometers away.
