The fishing village of Taghazout on Morocco’s Atlantic coast is known worldwide for its first-class surf spots. Just south of the village of 5,000 inhabitants with its main street lined with cafés and surf shops, the new Hyatt Regency Taghazout has just opened its doors directly on a kilometre-long sandy beach.
Many of the 190 rooms and suites offer terraces with breathtaking sea views. Four of the six “Executive Terrace Suites” also have a private pool. The spa has treatment rooms for individuals and couples, a sauna, a whirlpool, and a hammam.
Five minutes to the golf club
A fitness centre with yoga and Pilates classes completes the facilities. The restaurant “Citron Brûlé” serves international cuisine with Moroccan influences, while the “Sud, Km 17” tempts with French-Italian Riviera cuisine. Fresh sandwiches and salads await at the pool bar “La Vie en Blue”.
The Taghazout Golf Club, only five minutes away, with its 18-hole championship course high above the sea, is another good argument for the new Hyatt Regency Taghazout. The tourist stronghold of Agadir is just under a 30-minute drive away. The flexible member rate with breakfast starts in autumn at EUR 201 for the most basic room and EUR 634 for a pool suite.
