Haritha Villas +Spa: New luxury resort in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has not yet seen a luxury resort like this: On 15 December 2019, the new Haritha Villas + Spa will celebrate its opening with nine exclusive villas and mansions, a 350-square-meter Jungle Spa, and a 100-square-meter infinity pool , The starting signal was already eagerly awaited since the start of the project in December 2015.

The Haritha Villas + Spa is located approximately 900 meters from the sea, 25 minutes from Galle and two hours from the international airport in Colombo. The hideaway is surrounded by tropical jungles and rice fields with wild peacocks. Each villa has its own saltwater pool and spacious, partially covered outdoor areas with sundecks. The architecture is based largely on clean lines and modern design. Only the two mansions present themselves in the customary colonial style in Sri Lanka.

The seven Haritha villas, each measuring 110 square meters, are set on a palm-covered hillside. At the top are the two Colonial Mansions with one or two bedrooms and a living space of 191 or 240 square meters. The luxury resort’s restaurant offers a range of dishes from around the world as well as Sri Lankan specialties throughout the day. Many of the ingredients used come from our own Organic Garden or from local fishermen and farmers.

The two-story “Jungle Spa” with its four treatment rooms overlooks an upstream lake and a tea plantation. After the treatments there is a jacuzzi, a steam bath, a herbal bath, a sauna and a relaxation area. A pavilion on the lake is available for yoga and meditation. Of course, a fitness center should not be missing. The room rates start at USD 600 per villa including breakfast.
