Growth plans in Europe: Hyatt plans to open 20 new hotels

Hyatt has announced new growth plans for Europe: At least 20 new hotels are to be added to the brand portfolio by the end of 2023. The corresponding management and franchise agreements have already been concluded. More than half of the projects are attributable to the lifestyle brands Andaz, Alila and Hyatt Centric as well as The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. Currently, Hyatt is represented in Europe with 63 hotels in 22 countries under nine different brands.

In the UK, the country’s first Park Hyatt will open in London’s revamped Nine Elms district, while two new properties, a Hyatt Regency and a Hyatt Place, will be launched at Zurich Airport. Also in Switzerland, Alila La Gruyère is planned to be the first Alila resort in Europe. In addition, Hyatt is opening up no fewer than five new markets in Europe as part of its growth plans with the first hotels in Stockholm, Helsinki, Malta and Cyprus. The projects at a glance:
