The parent company Lufthansa is permanently stopping Germanwings’ flight operations due to the ongoing corona crisis. The aim is to “offer as many of the 1,400 employees as possible to continue working within the Lufthansa Group”. Germanwings was a German low-cost airline based in Cologne and based at Cologne / Bonn Airport.
