Free fall in the Maldives: luxury resort attracts with free skydive

In the Pullman Maldives Maamutaa, brave people can experience the Maldives from the sky with a skydive in February: anyone who has booked at least eight nights in the newly opened all-inclusive resort will receive a free parachute jump – redeemable from 02 to 22 February 2020.

A small propeller plane takes guests from Kooddoo Airport, about 15 minutes away, to an altitude of around 3,000 meters, where the skydive starts over the Maldives: after about a minute of free fall, the parachute opens and an adventurous flight over the small islands and the endless expanses of the Indian Ocean begins.

If you want to enjoy the Skydives even with a shorter stay, you can book a tandem jump from USD 390 per person in the same period. A cameraman is also available for USD 580. The transfer from the resort to Kooddoo Airport and back is included. Bookings can be made directly through the Pullman Maldives Maamutaa at email H9924-SM4@accor.com.

The Pullman Maldives Maamutaa only opened in September 2019 in the southern Gaafu Alifu Atoll in the Maldives. We have reported about it here. 122 villas with a luxurious all-inclusive concept await guests. Six restaurants and bars – including a vegetarian and vegan with its own organic vegetable and herb garden – are included as well as numerous non-motorized activities on land and in and on the water.

For stays of five nights or more, a treatment in the “Spa by Phytomer” with a view of the lagoon, a jet ski safari or a dive is included. The fitness offer also includes a boot camp with palm climbing and abseiling. Children up to 10 years old will find a water playground and creative indoor and outdoor games in the “Playground”, while teens in the “Skillz Sports Center” can use a golf simulator and karaoke rooms.
