New Hotel Opening

Four Seasons opens new luxury hotel on Chao Phraya in Bangkok

Four Seasons is back in Bangkok: The new Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River welcomes its first guests in 299 rooms and suites with immediate effect. Along a 200-metre stretch of the imposing river – right in the heart of the Thai capital – several stepped buildings rise up, connected by elegant lounge areas, inviting terraces and tranquil courtyards with lush tropical greenery.

Designer rooms and suites

Designer Jean-Michel Gathy was responsible for the interior design. High ceilings and glass walls leave plenty of room to breathe, while pools and running water echo the Chao Phraya flowing by. An “ART Space” in collaboration with MOCA Bangkok, stretching from the lobby to the river, showcases the country’s crafts and contemporary Thai artists in changing exhibitions.

The rooms and suites have high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river or the garden. Ultimate luxury is offered by the “Terrace Suites”, whose furnished terraces even offer space for a private dinner party. The 450-square-metre “Presidential Suite” is perhaps Bangkok’s finest address: Windows stretching over two floors frame the view of the Chao Phraya from the tenth floor. The suite also includes up to three bedrooms and a terrace with pool.

Exclusive destination dining

The restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok are under the direction of Executive Chef Andrea Accordi, who previously worked at the eight Michelin-starred Four Seasons Hong Kong. The Chinese signature restaurant “Yu Ting Yuan” serves authentic Cantonese cuisine, while the riverside “Riva del Fiume Ristorante” offers regionally inspired Italian dishes.

“Brasserie Palmier” – also located on the riverbank – offers brasserie classics with a focus on fish and seafood, along with a wine and oyster bar. Cocktails, craft spirits, champagne and the finest cigars are on the menu at the “BKK Social Club” – a bar designed to bring the legendary glamour of Buenos Aires back to life. “The Lounge” for afternoon tea and the “Cafe Madeleine” with fine sweets round off the culinary offerings.

Urban wellness centre

With the Palm Courtyard as its centrepiece, the “Urban Wellness Centre” covers an area of more than 2,500 square metres. Here you will find eight treatment rooms, a spa suite with its own bathroom and indoor garden, a boutique, lounges, a hairdressing salon, a barbershop, and a nail studio. There is also a modern gym, a “Mind & Body Studio” with regular classes and a 30-metre pool for lane swimming.

In addition to the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, the luxury hotel group also operates the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui, the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai and the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle on the Mekong River in Thailand. With the “Thailand by Four Seasons” offer, two nights in Bangkok can be combined with two additional nights in one of the sister hotels – including credits for F&B and spa.
