Dubai: New Royal Penthouse Suite at Mandarin Oriental Jumeira

The Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai, opened in May 2019, has expanded its 178 rooms and 78 suites with an exclusive Royal Penthouse. The 850 square meter suite is located on the top floor of the luxury resort and can only be reached by private elevator.

A spacious living room with a bar, a dining room for up to 16 guests and a fully equipped kitchen await the guests. The bedroom and bath in the adjacent marble bathroom offer spectacular panoramic sea views. The private gym is equipped with the latest training equipment. A marble staircase leads to the private, lush green roof terrace with an outdoor dining area.

Burberry has equipped the two walk-in closets with pieces from the brand’s latest ready-to-wear collection – including several exclusive items that are available for purchase. The luxury experience is rounded off by a butler service, an exclusive Petiscos menu created by star chef José Avillez, a minibar with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, spa treatments and a private cabana on the beach.

The lobby is particularly impressive: 14 bronze trees; seven, eight and nine meters high, each equipped with 900 lights, form a crystal roof that almost resembles the glitter of the sea. The room opens up to an outdoor area with water features, walkways, stone bridges and teak decks that lead directly to the beach.

The culinary program ranges from the signature restaurant “Tasca” with Portuguese cuisine to the Japanese “Warayaki Steakhouse Netsu” to the brasserie restaurant “The Bay” with show kitchens and family-friendly menus. The 2,000 square meter spa offers nine treatment rooms, a VIP Royal Suite and a fitness center. The “Little Nomads Children’s Club” with a colorful tree house is available for younger guests.
