The new Andaz Dubai The Palm has opened. For the luxury lifestyle brand of the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, it is the second hotel in the United Arab Emirates after the Andaz Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi that opened in 2018. A total of 21 Andaz Hotels are now available to choose from worldwide – including New York, Singapore, Shanghai, Tokyo, London, Amsterdam, Munich and Vienna.
The Andaz Dubai The Palm is located on the “trunk” of the artificial island The Palm Jumeirah and has 67 rooms, 34 suites and 116 residences. The decor is inspired by Arabic culture with numerous works by local artists, which are presented in pop-up exhibitions on the walls of the hotel. The suites offer separate living and dining areas, a terrace, a rain shower and a spacious bathtub.
In the restaurant “The Locale” with an outdoor terrace on the ground floor, which is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the name says it all: the kitchen captures the culinary diversity of the city and combines the different flavors of Dubai. The modern “Hanami” is understood as a contemporary interpretation of a typical Japanese pub called “Izakaya”.
On the 15th floor of the Andaz Dubai The Palm, artistic cocktails with atmospheric music are served with a view of the skyline, while the underground speakeasy bar “Knox” tempts with a modern mixology in industrial chic. From the second half of 2020, “La Coco” will be serving up light snacks and drinks by the pool.
The “Andaz Lounge”, which is also known as the “anti-office”, wants to stimulate exciting conversations over coffee or cocktails with cozy armchairs, large tables, a library and a bar. In the hotel spa “Ora” on the 14th floor A selection of facial and body treatments are offered, and there is also an adult-only “cabana” pool area and fitness center.
