Daios Cove invests a million euros in even more luxury in Crete

Daios Cove in Crete is celebrating its 10th birthday: Since 2010, the luxury hotel in the lonely bay of Vathi has been one of the best hideaways in Greece. For it’s anniversary, more than one million euros are currently being invested in various improvements that should be ready in time for the start of the 2020 season.

The stylishly furnished “Deluxe Junior Suites” are brand new – with either a balcony or a private seawater pool. Guests in this suite category also enjoy the “Residents’ Club” – a luxurious all-inclusive program that includes all restaurants and bars of the resort, cocktails and drinks at the bars, and 24-hour room service and includes free choice from the minibar.

The blooming courtyard with infinity pool is redesigned and transformed into a cozy lounge oasis. Just a few steps away is a new sea water pool with loungers and day beds for adults only. At a charming lounge bar, guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails and small snacks in a shady spot.

The à la carte restaurant “The Ocean” also has a completely new ambience. At the same time, the French star chef Alain Ducasse, will design a special menu for the restaurant and the newly designed “Ocean Bar” – inspired by the location of the island between three continents and the historical influences of different civilizations. Daios Cove is located in the east of Crete – around an hour from the airports in Heraklion and Sithia.
