New Hotel Opening

Angsana Corfu: Banyan Tree Group opens its first luxury resort in Europe

The Banyan Tree Group is coming to Europe for the first time: Angsana Corfu, originally announced for 2019, will finally open in April this year. Located on a rocky promontory on the east coast of the Greek island of Corfu, the new luxury resort has 94 rooms, 65 suites and 37 pool villas ranging in size from 94 to 327 square metres, surrounded by Mediterranean gardens and olive groves.

Guests can look forward to, among other things, a spectacular infinity pool overlooking the picturesque bay of Benitses, a modern gym, a yoga pavilion and a spa with a 25-metre indoor pool. Among the three restaurants, “Botrini’s” by Corfiot-Italian master chef Ettore Botrini, who has already been awarded a Michelin star at his restaurant “Botrini’s” in Athens, stands out.

In addition to a private beach and a water sports centre, the Angsana Corfu will also offer island tours, speedboat excursions, olive oil tastings and ceramics and soap workshops. Corfu Town can be reached in 25 minutes by car or seven minutes by speedboat. The Angsana Corfu will be open all year round. However, bookings are not yet possible.
