Aman presents the newly renovated Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos

Pure luxury on white dream beaches in front of a turquoise blue sea – and all this far away from the rest of the world: For 15 years now, Amanyara on the Turks and Caicos Islands has undisputedly been one of the best resorts in the Caribbean. Nevertheless, Aman has given its showpiece on the island of Providenciales a comprehensive renovation in time for its anniversary.

The 38 pavilions ranging in size from 65 to 260 square metres, many of which have private pools, were now presented in a completely new look with new furniture and bathtubs. The Olson Kundig design office ensured that the minimalist design by Jean Michel Gathy was retained and placed an emphasis on the connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. For example, the spacious terraces are accessible via floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

The Amanyara will also be offering a range of new activities. These include kite boarding in Long Bay, a 30-minute drive away, horseback riding on the picturesque nature trails of the island and free diving. After all, the world’s third largest barrier reef lies off the Turks and Caicos Islands – and it is only a few minutes from the resort to the popular dive site “Northwest Point”.

The cheapest pavilion at Amanyara can currently be booked from USD 2,300 per night. With the “Extend Your Stay” rate, every sixth night is free. Equally interesting is the “Season of Discovery” rate with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner from USD 2,314 per night. However, 27 percent taxes and fees are added to the rates. The resort is a short drive from Providenciales International Airport.
