Maldives: Stylish transfer to Jumeirah Vittaveli

Jumeirah Vittaveli is bringing its guests from the airport to the luxurious island resort in the South Male Atoll of the Maldives with a new fleet of stylish catamarans. The special Jumeirah service also includes a lounge at the airport, where travelers can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with fresh coffee, homemade cookies and free WiFi.

After the short break, employees of the resort accompany guests to one of the new catamarans with which they cover the 20-minute journey to Jumeirah Vittaveli. Designed by the agency iYacht based in Hamburg, three catamaran models are available in different designs. But all are equipped with spacious lounge armchairs and a galley, in which a freshly brewed espresso is prepared for the guests.

The Jumeirah Vittaveli consists of 89 villas and suites, all of which have a pool and direct access to the beach or lagoon. The new “Private Ocean Retreats” and “Infinity Pool Ocean Villas” also offer a water slide. The culinary offering includes six restaurants and bars, a wine library, an underground whiskey and chocolate salon and a fine cigar lounge.

Highlights of the luxury resort include a five-star PADI diving center, the award-winning “Talise Spa” and the Maldives’ first ice rink. Younger guests will find suitable activities and entertainment for all ages in the Kids Club. If you want to explore the species-rich house reef and the five nearby shipwrecks, you can not only do this while diving and snorkeling, but also in a submarine.
