Anantara Desaru Coast: New luxury resort in Malaysia

Anantara is now also represented in Malaysia: The newly opened Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is embedded in a spacious, tropical complex directly on a 17-kilometer-long sandy beach on the southeastern tip of the country and is very easy to reach from Singapore.

Guests of the newly built luxury resort can look forward to 90 rooms and 13 stand-alone pool villas with one or two bedrooms, which overlook the garden, the lagoon or the sea. In addition there are 20 residences with three to four bedrooms, infinity pool and cooking and butler service. Designed by Malay interior designers, the design is characterized by traditional materials and traditional handicrafts.

Gourmets can enjoy grilled meat dishes and freshly caught fish in the open-air restaurant “Sea.Fire.Salt” right on the beach. In another restaurant, local specialties as well as Asian and international dishes are served for lunch and dinner. The “Dining By Design” typical of Anantara promises an individually tailored dinner with your own cook at special places in the resort.

An Anara Spa, a fitness center, two large pools, two bars and a kids club with an activity program for different age groups complete the offer. As part of the up-and-coming tourism destination Desaru Coast, the new Anantara is located in close proximity to two golf courses, a water park and numerous shopping and nightlife options. Senai International Airport can be reached in around 45 minutes and Singapore in around two hours.
