New Hotel Opening

Sable at Navy Pier: Chicago welcomes a new Hilton with a sensational location

A new hotel has opened in a very special location in Chicago: As the name suggests, the Sable at Navy Pier from the Curio Collection by Hilton is located directly on the famous Navy Pier on Lake Michigan – a historic landmark of the city with numerous cafes, restaurants and boutiques as well as a magnificent view of the lake and the skyline.

The unique location is also reflected in the maritime design of the 223 rooms and suites, which are spread over three buildings: Weathered brass is reminiscent of ship cabins – and the view through the floor-to-ceiling windows onto the wide lake really makes you think you are on the sea. Even the name pays homage to a ship: the historic USS Sable served as a training centre right on the pier during the Second World War.

A highlight of the hotel is the neighbouring “Offshore”, which, according to the Guinness Book of Records, can call itself the largest rooftop bar in the world. On an area of 4,800 square metres, up to 1,000 guests can enjoy a spectacular view. Rates at the Sable at Navy Pier currently start at USD 222 per night in a Standard Room and at USD 279 in one of the highly recommended Corner Rooms.
