Newly opened: Hard Rock Hotels brings the beat to Amsterdam

Hard Rock International is now also represented in Amsterdam: The newly opened Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American has 173 rooms and suites and is housed in a well-known Art Nouveau building that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site – surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes and Theaters.

The house on Leidseplein Platz, formerly known as the “American Hotel”, was built in 1903 and has now been carefully renovated by Hard Rock International. Historical elements such as the Art Nouveau stained glass windows and the Chiaroscuro paintings have been preserved. The very special ambience is complemented by the characteristic Hard Rock Memorabilia – including precious pieces by Elton John and John Lennon.

The traditional “Café Americain” at the Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam combines classic decor with contemporary regional cuisine. The “Bar Americain” right next door is a popular meeting place for the locals, but has also hosted many famous artists over the decades. Numerous photos of celebrities on the walls testify to this. In good weather, the terrace of the bar beckons with a “Dutch bitterballen” or specially created cocktails. The lobby bar “GMT +1” is also ideal for a drink.

As in all Hard Rock Hotels, the brand names of the brand can be found in the new Hard Rock Hotel Amsterdam American – for example the program “The Sound of Your Stay”, where guests reserve one of the hotel’s own Fender guitars including amplifiers and headphones Crosley vinyl players can order to the room.

The in-room yoga program “Rock Om” consists of three sessions in which the art of yoga is combined with musical beats. The “Rock Royalty Service” in turn includes the use of the private “Rock Royalty Lounge” and other exclusive amenities such as a free minibar. A fitness center and a rock shop are also part of the hotel.
