Hall Arts Hotel: One of the best hotels in Dallas joins the Curio Collection by Hilton

The Hall Arts Hotel in Dallas has recently expanded the portfolio of the Curio Collection by Hilton. The luxurious boutique hotel only opened in December 2019, but has already been named the second best hotel in Dallas and one of the five best hotels in Texas by the travel magazine “Conde Nast Traveller” as part of the “Readers Choice Awards 2020”.

Luxury with contemporary art

The Hall Arts Hotel’s location in the 28-hectare Arts District in downtown Dallas is ideal for guests who want to enjoy the diverse cultural life of the Texas metropolis: The Meyerson Symphony Center, the Winspear Opera House and the Dallas Museum of Art are only a few steps away. To complement this, the hotel boasts an impressive collection of contemporary art that can rival any good gallery.

The property is owned by the real estate company Hall Group of husband and wife team Craig and Kathryn Hall, who also own the California Hall, Baca and Walt Wines wineries. Its vision was to “create a contemporary art space in Dallas where guests can feel inspired throughout their stay and experience all the amenities and services of a luxury boutique hotel.”

Sushi and a Steinway grand piano

The 183 rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, bed linen by Frette and Natura Blissé bath products by La Bottega. They also include 19 suites whose design was inspired by the Dallas Arts District – such as the “Showstopper Suite” or the 90-square-metre “Grand Finale Suite” with a view of the Wyly Theatre from the tenth floor. The view is only better from the pool, bar and terrace on the roof.

Ellie’s Restaurant” on the second floor serves seasonal American cuisine with fresh ingredients, which can also be enjoyed on a terrace. In “Ellie’s Lounge” cocktails, top wines and a Steinway grand piano await, which is used for live music five evenings a week. The culinary offer is rounded off by the Asian restaurant “Musume” with fabulous sushi and the largest premium sake menu in the state.
