Five kilometers: New Zipline Tour in Ras Al Khaimah

In the Jebel Jais massif in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, another superlative adventure attraction is waiting to be discovered: On the new “Jebel Jais Zipline Tour”, seven ziplines with a length of 337 to 1,000 meters are connected by nine platforms to a total distance of five kilometres – and at the end a 15 meter long suspension bridge over a 300 meter deep gorge awaits you. The average speed is 60 km/h.

The operator of the new “Jebel Jais Zipline Tour”, which is located at 1,250 metres above sea level, is ToroVerde. The adventure company is also responsible for the Via Ferrata and the Jebel Jais Flight – the longest zipline in the world. Both attractions have enjoyed great popularity since their opening. Thus on the Jebel Jais Flight in only one year more than 35,000 passengers from all world were welcomed.

As the next adventure after the Zipline Tour Ras Al Khaimah wants to open a “Bull Maze” on the Jebel Jais before the end of 2019. This is a labyrinth of 35 suspended obstacles, spread over three levels and 20 metres in height. The developers promise that the participants will reach their personal limits.

Finally, in the first quarter of 2020, the opening of a 23-metre high bungee jump is planned, with the first eight metres as a free fall and the further 15 metres as a controlled fall. The price for the “Jebel Jais Zipline Tour” is AED 295 (approx. EUR 74) per person on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and AED 345 (approx. EUR 86) per person on Fridays and Saturdays.
